The print

The small paisleys repeat cleanly in blue and teal across a white ground, then build into the panelled pallu. Printed through a specialist converter on the same route every time, the blue holds its tone and the repeat lines up piece to piece.

The drape

At 425 g the drape falls light and fluid, easy to pleat and easy to carry for hours. The cool, matte white-and-blue reads well for office days, daily wear and daytime celebrations alike.

Before first wear

It arrives as an unstitched drape — the form that stays eligible for exchange — so you can check the shade before you finish it. When you are happy, have the fall and pico done and cut the blouse from the attached 80 cm piece.
