An off white drape in dense paisley-and-floral print, framed by a maroon border.

Why this piece

  • The pallu — a wide multi-band end-piece in orange, maroon and white gives the drape a clear festive finish.
  • Opaque and light — opaque at a measured 50 GSM.
  • Blouse piece included — the attached 80 cm running blouse piece is cut from the same cloth, so nothing has to be matched or bought again.

The print

Small paisley and floral motifs cover the ground in maroon and orange, then open into the banded pallu. Printed through a specialist converter on a single consistent route, the warm tones stay true and the repeat holds across every piece.

The drape

Light at 425 g and fluid in the hand, it pleats cleanly and carries through a long function. The ground with maroon and orange is an easy choice for a daytime celebration, office wear or daily wear.

Before first wear

The saree comes as an unstitched drape, the form that keeps it exchange-eligible, so you can check the shade first. When it suits, have the fall and pico done and stitch the blouse from the attached 80 cm piece.
