The print

White leaves at small scale, worked closely across the yellow so the ground shows through as a glow rather than a block of colour. The dupatta eases the density and adds a distinct circular floral band along its lower horizontal edge.

The fringe at that edge is part of the piece, not an addition, so the dupatta is finished as it comes.

Wearing it

Yellow is a daylight and festive shade and one of the few that lifts an ordinary office day. Stitch it plain, place the circular band where it falls in front, and wear gold or plain glass bangles.

It is light: the whole three-piece set weighs 600 to 650 g, which is why a stitched kurta from it stays comfortable through a full day rather than sitting heavy by the afternoon.
